About the Author
Phoebe Baker Hyde’s essays on self and culture have been published in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Salon.com, and The Wall Street Journal. Her short stories have appeared in the literary journals Confrontation, The Chrysalis Reader, High Plains Literary Review and have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She holds degrees in Cultural Anthropology and English from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Fine Arts in writing from the University of California, Irvine. Phoebe currently lives in Boston where she works as an executive caregiver and domestic consultant specializing in acquisitions, logistics and stakeholder relations.
